The British United Provident Association (BUPA) is a global health and care organisation with more than seven million customers in 180 countries and 40,000 employees. As a provident association, BUPA does not have shareholders and reinvests its surpluses into improved health and care facilities. Formed in 1947 BUPA now offers a wide range of health and care services from health insurance, hospitals and care homes to health assessments and nurseries.
