Does any one know of any volunteer work, for dog shelters, or vets?
Thank you for your wanting to volunteer – wish there were more folks like this in the world! I would stop by your local shelters and ask what they need – they are always looking for help. The shelters I work with use volunteers for interviewing potential adopters to ensure they are appropriate dog walking – getting the shelter dogs out and about training – taking the shelter dogs through obedience classes public interactio – taking the shelter animals to local fairs, manning information booths, etc.
