Does any one Know any Superstitions about people being born with white hair?
Be happy you were not born with such hair in the middle ages–or perhaps you were. In those times babies born with white hair had an exorcism done immediately that usually killed them. Albinos with white hair and pink eyes were strangled immediately by the midwife because it was church law that the baby marked in this manner was a child of demons or Satan. The mother was then tried in the church courts for sexual association with demons or Satan and either put through horrendous exorcisms if thought to be raped or hung if thought to be consenting.
