Does any one know a good way to season meat like steak and lamb?

I like Worcestershire sauce and pepper on steak. Just sprinkle it on before you cook, or let it sit a few hours (keep it in the fridge) for a stronger flavour. Lamb, I would try bashing up some fresh rosemary and garlic, mixing with oil, and marinading the lamb for a few hours. I don’t know if this is correct, but I’ve heard that salting meat before you cook it will only make it dry. Like when you salt cucumbers to deliberately draw out the moisture, same is supposed to happen to meat. So I always leave the salt til after cooking.
