Does any one have info about green spotted puffer fish?
Well I’ve owned these little guys for a while and yes they do grow slow, you will need at least a 29g rectangle aquarium for 1 fully grown and even then they get bored, if you noticed him at the side of the tank going up and down that means his bored lol. Anyways by the time he is more than 2″ in length he should be in a brackish tank NOT a freshwater. When they get bigger you can buy ghost shrimp to feed it they love those, and also if you want when you get a bigger tank for your puffer you can use your current tank to house 2-5 snails and when they have babies feed some to your puffer they will love them as well. What i used to do is every month i would buy a $2 crab (About 3″) and drop him in the tank within days my puffer would tear it apart and eat it, it helps trim down their teeth. When you are transferring him don’t use a net as he can suck up some air try and use a water container.
