Tagged As: Technics Piano Question: Does any one have experience using the computer connection on the Technics digital piano? It appears to be a way to connect directly to a PC serial port without having to use a MIDI interface. The user’s manual for my SX-PX222 says that a SZ-JJAP1 cable is needed but when I called a Panasonic rep they said that they didn’t know about the cable though they admitted the number was valid. If this computer connection is not serviceable, does anyone have recommendations for a 1 MIDI IN, 1 MIDI OUT to MAC serial interface, i.e. so that I can connect to the standard MIDI ports on the SX-PX222. I would like to play and record piano music from/to MIDI files using a Macintosh PB180. Answer: i’m using cubasis and a digital mixer (yamaha Promix 01). On the other hand, i have a keyboard (a small yamaha) Anyone can tell which software (sampler) i should get to be able to record sounds from an external source and play it throu the keyboard. And How do I do ?
