Does Ant Infestation Ground For Breaking A Lease In FL?

It looks like this question was asked awhile ago, but for other members who may have a similar question, pest infestation can be grounds for breaking a lease in almost any state in the USA, if the problem is a health issue (which ants could be) and if the landlord is aware or should have been aware of the issue, and/or has been notified by tenant, has had the opportunity to correct and has not or not attempted to, and the problem persists and is severe enough that it does present a hazard to your well being. If in doubt, contact your HUD office in the USA at this link, where you will find your landlord/tenant rights for your state, as well as contact phone numbers in case you cannot find your answer there. Good luck.
