No. In this case the employer is not required to provide confirmation of competency as they do not cover these work activities. The Training Plan details the expectations of where the training for each unit of competence within the apprentice’s qualification will take place. If a workplace cannot provide training on the job for a unit of competence then the Training Plan should show that the unit will be delivered and assessed in a simulated setting at the RTO.
