Does an LTO earn sick leave credits?
Yes. They accumulate 2 days for each month in their contract. This time is credited to them at the beginning of their contract. For example, if the contract starts in November and finishes in June they accumulate 16 days. The accumulated days can be carried forward to next year, or taken with them to another Board (assuming the other Board recognizes previous sick days in their contract).
