Does an Evaluation of Reading Strategies Facilitate Teachers Instruction?.
Abstract: English is a global language. English reading is dramatically important in the knowledge-based Economy age. However, what should English instructors in reading consider when adult learners are multi-leveled in their English reading abilities? This study will explore which reading strategies adult learners are able to utilize by their preferences and what effective reading strategies are adult learners not yet able to utilize. This will help train them to be able to apply more effective reading strategies so as to attain better reading comprehension. The aim of the study is to find an appropriate way to obtain good reading ability for adult learners, which will provide instructors with more effective strategy teaching in reading and provide students with better studying methods.
