Does an electronic cigarette produce smoke?
The “smoke” that is released from the E-Cigarette is simply a propylene glycol (or vegetable glycol, depending on the manufacturer) based vapor that evaporates into the air within seconds. E-Cigarettes leaves no residue in the air, does not produce second hand smoke, and leaves no lingering odor. Propylene Glycol is an ingredient found in many items, such as food coloring, hand sanitizers, and other food items.
