Does an ACE school require incoming students to take an entrance exam?

All students are required to sit a diagnostic test , the result of which informs the school at what level of curriculum they will enter the school. The test consists of PACEs (or sections of various levels of curriculum) and the student works away on these sections beginning at a very easy level and progressing higher and higher until he can basically do no more i.e. he has reached his optimum performance level. The test also reveals any learning gaps (things he missed or never really understood properly) in his education up to this point. These will be covered when he first enters the ACE program and then he will be properly equipped to proceed and succeed in the curriculum suited to his level. In other words, Mastery Education provides building blocks and enables the student to lay block upon block in a thorough and systematic manner.
