Dry mouth is the most common side effect of Amrix® (cyclobenzaprine ER). In one clinical study, up to 14 percent of people taking Amrix reported having a dry mouth, compared to just 2 percent of people taking a placebo (a “sugar pill” with no active ingredient). People taking a higher dose of Amrix were more likely to develop a dry mouth, compared to people taking a lower dose.
