Does amity university noida exist on website of ugc?
The name of Amity University does not appear on UGC website as of today and consequently,students who have graduated from AU are facing problems in higher studies overseas as the Overseas University checks UGC website to see any university if it is recognised by UGC to recognise its degree course.However,Amity University has been formed under section 2 f of UGC Act and in a recent judgement on July 3,2007, High Court has directed UGC to include the name of Amity Univ in its website,which is otherwise eligible under 2 f of UGC Act so that UGC does not act arbitrarily to include some and exclude some when all the 13 Private Universities are eligible under 2 f of UGC Act.
