Does American Public Media offer internships to high school students?
American Public Media’s internship guidelines generally require some post-secondary education. We consider college students or recent college graduates (within one year) looking for work experience in their field of study. From time to time American Public Media will set up a job shadowing opportunity for high school students. In most of these cases, the student has to meet a requirement for a class. To request a job shadowing opportunity, e-mail careers@americanpublicmedia.org and indicate that you would like to talk to someone in Human Resources.
