X2 for AMD denotes dual core. And no, dual core does not mean a running speed of 4 Ghz. Common misconception. It actually means both cores are running at 1.9 Ghz. Meaning if you multi-threaded programs (programs that can take advantage of dual core computers) they will run a lot fast (and on both cores).
