Does Amazon assign ASIN numbers for all new products?
Amazon creates an ASIN for a product if there is sufficient detail in the posted item to determine that it is definitely not something they already have in their catalog and is something they need to add. If there isn’t enough data, they’ll reject it to ask for more so they can determine if it matches to an existing item or needs to be a new one.
