Does Altera® supply device-level symbols for use with OrCADs schematic capture tools?
Solution Altera provides device-level symbols for use with OrCAD Express, OrCAD Capture, and Cadence Allegro Design Entry CIS in the .OLB library file format. You can download them from the Capture CIS Symbols web page. After downloading the library for your selected device family, follow these steps to add the devices in the downloaded library file to your OrCAD (Capture) project. • Select the Library folder in your OrCAD schematic tool’s Project Manager. • From the Edit menu, choose the Project option. • Browse to the downloaded library file and open it.
