Does Aloha Homes represent any other manufacturer other than Guildcrest and SUN?
Currently we are offering homes from SUN Building Systems only. Due to the crash of the dollar’s value against the Canadian dollar Guildcrest homes have gone up in cost approximately 40% from their low. We looked long and hard before going with Guildcrest, mostly due to their superior energy efficiency. When the dollar started crashing we had to look again at the US manufacturers and SUN Building Systems expressed a willingness to work on their energy efficiency techniques, long before any other builder seemed interested. We’re now happy with the improvements that SUN has and continues to make, making them a leader in the industry with some of the most energy efficient options available.
