Does all traffic on a Virtual Port have the same quality-of-service level?
Not necessarily. The network can also use deep packet inspection and flow signatures to distinguish between different types of traffic that originate from the same Virtual Port at the same time. This is useful when running a softphone on a laptop or using a converged device like an iPhone that supports both voice and data.
