Does Air Manager need a HAF filter?
The CCFT (which is the active part of the equipment) continuously works independently of any filter media, this is the part that actively breaks down, kills or destroys the contaminant. The HAF Media is the best filter media that we have for general usage and we install this into the airflow to do 2 things, either protect the internal components within the AirManager or in installations like clean rooms we also use the filter media to provide particle removal better than those provided with HEPA grade filter media. However in some environments where the air is exhausted outward into open air for example it is not entirely necessary.
