Does AGMA have individual or student memberships?
AGMA’s primary membership is for companies/corporations that manufacture gears, gearboxes, flexible couplings or mechanical power transmission equipment or components. We also have members that supply machine tools, cutting tools and other capital equipment to the gear manufacturing industry and that offer supplies or services, such as gear blanks, lubricants, heat-treating, grinding, etc. Users of gears and gearing equipment may also join. We do have a few independent consultants and professors of mechanical engineering as individual technical members. However, AGMA does not have student memberships or memberships for individual engineers who are employed at companies that manufacture or use gears.
