Yes,agenTel supports two types of wallboards: • LED wallboard (also called normal wallboard or standard wallboard) This is a display device usually hanging on the wall that can display characters using LEDs arrays. Depending on the type, the text can be displayed in different colors. • LAN wallboard (also called a data pop-up in contact center terminology) This is a software program that runs on a computer that displays the text in a window. Customers can then project these texts to the public, using: • Normal TV screens hanging on the wall • Plasma screens hanging on the wall • Beamer • Simply on each PC individually In agenTel, a LAN wallboard is viewed via the normal internet browser! The LAN wallboard is standard available (it only requires an ASP-compliant web server running on the agenTel server), the LED wallboard requires the installation of an additional software package (called a wallboard software package) and the physical wallboard device.
