Does AFT have a local union in all 1,140 Texas school districts?

No, not yet. But we do have members in some 890 school districts in Texas that belong to our Professional Educators Group (PEG). In fact, Texas AFT has more than 22,000 members in districts where a local union is yet to be organized.
