Does AFA have any minimum asset requirements?
AFA’s minimum for individuals is $500,000 in investable assets, however AFA is flexible with this minimum. For example, if you do not meet our minimum, but you are still in your earning years and will likely meet that minimum within a reasonable period of time, AFA would waive the minimum. Please contact us with regards to your specific situation. Investable assets would primarily include such holdings as a 401(k) from a past employer and IRAs and/or taxable accounts held at brokerage firms, banks or mutual fund companies. It would not include, for example, a 401(k) at your current employer, an annuity with surrender charges and/or restricted stock. For a 401(k) or other defined contribution retirement plan, the minimum is $1,000,000 in total participant assets, however there is some flexibility with regards to this minimum.
