Does ADB assist the private sector?
Yes. ADB assists the private sector through the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD), ADB’s private sector investment window. PSOD has adopted India as one of the focal countries for its direct investments in the private sector. Over the medium term PSOD will explore opportunities for investment in infrastructure and the financial sector. PSOD catalyzes private investments through direct finance, credit enhancement and risk mitigation.
