Does ACL receive any commission on slot trades?
No, ACL does not charge a commission or fee based on the success of a trade. It only charges standard fees for the services provided, whether or not the airlines ultimately agree a trade. This is to avoid any perception that the ACL, as coordinator, has an interest in whether or not a particular slot trade occurs. The coordinator must be independent and act in a neutral, transparent and non-discriminatory way.
