Does AccuChef run under Vista/Windows 7 operating system?
Yes BUT, Vista and Windows 7 institues a different protection architecture that by default won’t allow most regular users to have read/write access to any folder in the C:\Program Files folder (where AccuChef installs by default). The work around is to install AccuChef in your C:\Users\yourusername\Documents folder instead. If you’ve already installed AccuChef in C:\Program Files\AccuChef6 here are your options: 1) Uninstall AccuChef (Click the Start button, select “Control Panel”, then select “Programs and Features”, highlight “AccuChef” and click “Uninstall/Change”) and then re-install it in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\AccuChef6 (where “YOURUSERNAME” is your account username). 2) Right click the AccuChef icon and select “Run as Administrator” from the Drop Down Menu.
