No, Outlook is not required. However, if you do use Outlook, then the Accomplice software will recognize that application on your computer and as a result, your Accomplice system will include some very nice integration features with your Outlook email, calendar, tasks and in the future, with your contacts. For instance, your email and calendar viewlets (the windows on the left-hand-side) will be populated dynamically with live data from your Outlook system. You can also synchronize your Accomplice Activities with Outlook Tasks and with your PDA or smart phone. You can drag and drop emails from the email viewlet to your Accomplice Activities or Notebook and create an Activity from an email. (Note that the Calendar viewlet is not yet hooked up to allow for drag and drop of calendar info into the Accomplice system.)
