Does a wire-free bra give the same support?
Wire-free bras will give you a similar level of support to a underwired bra. It will feel different than what you are used to with an underwired bra, but if you get the size right you should feel just as supported. Brands such as Freya, Royce and Anita are specialists in larger cup sized wire-free bras. These brands support busts up to a L cup. We always make sure a bra is supportive before we add it to our collection. Please remember though, everyone is different, so styles that suit some women will not suit others. Note: With a wire-free bra the centre front will generally not sit in tight to your breast bone as an underwired bra would. But it should give you some bust separation and definition. Gone are the days of the ‘sausage’ effect!
