Does a uk provisional driving licence also work in other eu countries?
I don’t know about Spanish licences, but I do know that a lot of British youths on hols in Spain come to grief every year by hiring clapped out dangerous scooters and not wearing helmets. Wear a helmet and a yellow jacket, get a bike that is roadworthy, preferrably a new one from a main dealer, take a riding instruction course, make sure you’ve got medical insurance and make sure it will pay for you to be returned to the U.K. if you get injured, be very very careful and make sure you find out about all the relevent Spanish laws and regulations and get proper insurance cover. REMEMBER, Spain may be a lovely country, and it may be a member of the E.C., but it isn’t Britain, they do things their own way, and if you come unstuck legal wise, especially in an accident situation, it could be very nasty, and they have some strange laws in Spain, for example, if a builder builds a house and you buy it and he owes money to his materials suppliers, you are liable for his debts, Spain is not Brita
