0

A type 1A container that satisfies the requirements of the CAN/CGSB-43.125 standard meets all of the requirements specified in Chapter 6 of part 6 of the International Civil Aviation Organization Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (ICAO TIs). Chapter 6.6 is referenced in packing instruction 602, specified for UN2814 INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE, AFFECTING HUMANS and UN2900, INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE, AFFECTING ANIMALS in the dangerous goods list. The documentation and dangerous good safety mark requirements specific to air transport are set out in the ICAO TIs. Consult the TIs for details or contact one of the dangerous goods air transport consultants listed at Organizations Providing Dangerous Goods Training for assistance.
