Does a tissue sampler transmit the DNA sequence of the attacker to the Police?
No. The tissue sample holds and preserves the DNA of the attacker and the victim. The wireless tag of the tissue sampler is used to help the Police in locating the victim’s tissue sampler. When the Police locate the tissue sample they take it to a DNA lab to have the DNA it holds within analyzed and the attacker identified.
