A throttle bodie spacer does work but to a degree. You will never see an increase of 20hp with just a spacer alone. The taller the spacer is generally the better. You probably wont notice too much of a difference with just a spacer alone. But when paired with a cold air intake (like your K&N) you should be pretty happy.
