Does a team have to request a postponement prior to the scheduled night?
According to Rule 111b, a postponement must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled session, except for emergencies. If a team does not field a legal lineup and has not requested a postponement, a forfeit would be given. However, the forfeiting team would have up to 15 days to protest the forfeiture and request an emergency postponement according to Rule 119. If the scheduled games are within the final two weeks of the schedule, the team would have to request an emergency postponement within 48 hours of the final date of that schedule.
