Does a student have to declare a major right away?

0

Students who are undecided about a major may select General Studies on their application form. Once accepted to the college, the undecided student may be referred to an advisor or counselor for assistance with planning his/her first semester class schedule. The Career Center provides students with in-depth career counseling and services during their first semester. Your student can make an appointment to meet with a career counselor by calling 919-866-5460, or stopping by the Career Center.
