Drench hoses are available with a single sprayhead or dual sprayheads. Per ANSI Z358.1, drench hoses with a single sprayhead do not meet all the criteria of an eyewash because they do not have dual spray heads for flushing both eyes simultaneously. Compliant drench hoses with dual spray heads feature a stay-open ball valve and allow the hands to remain free to help open the eye lids.
