Does a Reiki practitioner become exhausted and drained from giving Reiki to the clients?

Since the Reiki energy comes from the unseen universal life force, through the practitioner, there is no drain of energy from the practitioner. He/She is merely a conduit. Often the practitioner feels exhilarated and renewed after a session. Obviously if the practitioner is standing and treats a number of different individuals in succession, he/she may need to rest or sit and take a break.
