Does a provider have ongoing access to all patient contact information for appropriate follow up?
Once contact has been made through an online conversation, the provider may add the patient to their contact list and contact the patient through secure mail on the system. If the patient provides their personal email address and phone number to the provider, the provider may also use those to contact the patient. During training, we encourage providers to request emergency contact information from the patients for future contact.
