PROFIBUS has been designed to be simple. Assuming a knowledge of PLCs and field device technology it has been our experience that the information needed to set up a network can be imparted in as little as half a day. There are many training courses available from vendor members and PI Training labs. PI itself runs a series of practical workshops from integration to device implementation.
