Does a procariot cell have cytoskeleton?

0

No, prokaryotic cell does not have cytoskeleton or microtubules. This is the only property of eukaryotic cell. Prokaryotic cells contain cilia or flagella for its movement whose composition is different from the cilia or flagella of eukaryotic cells (made of microtubules). Prokaryotic cell undergoes cell division by simple binary fission in which first chromosome devides in two and then division of cytoplasm occurs by simple cytokinesis without the involvement of any proper machinary.
