Does a positive vote on ballot question 2E result in a straight transfer of the existing 19 mills from the Metro District to the new city?
No. The proposed citys ballot question 2E allows some or all of the 19 mills to be levied by the proposed city only in the event that the District is levying less than 19 mills and will only be used to provide water and sanitation services. The District could agree to that voluntarily or the proposed city could try to dissolve the District through a process that requires both court approval and a separate vote on dissolution by all registered voters in Castle Pines North Metropolitan District, pursuant to the answer in Question 7 below.
