Does a plasma TV offer better colour reproduction?
The colour reproduction of plasma is clearly superior for most scenes because individual red, green and blue phosphors are used to create the colour. LCD TVs use backlights and filters to generate colour, so it is far more difficult to produce colour especially for dark scenes. Plasma is the best choice for movies and many of today’s TV programs that feature dark scenes.
