Does a plane fall faster or fly faster down.?

0

A plane could always fly faster to the ground than falling. Even if the plane was perfectly teardropped shape and had no wings or anything to add to air drag it would not fall any faster than gravity or 9.8 meters per second squared. So by adding power from the engine to downward direction that could only add to the velocity what the plane is already experiencing from gravity.
