Does a person have to be a Christian in order to come to Friendship House?

No. Friendship House is a Christian home that is run on Christian principles. The manager is also a Christian. However, we do not exclude individuals of other faiths, nor do people have to believe what we believe in order to come. We do however, feel that an individual is made up of three parts, the physical, the emotional/intellectual, and the spiritual. We are only helping two-thirds of a person if there is no help for the spiritual side of an individual. We offer that side if people are interested. From our experience, most people are interested in connecting with their former religious upbringing.
