Does a pedigree cat need any special attention?
No more so than a non-pedigree! Turkish Angoras have a semi-longhaired coat, which means that while they don’t need constant grooming, the fur around the back of the legs and on the tummy may need the odd combing now and again. Unlike Maine Coons and Forest Cats, the fur is fine and less prone to matting. They don’t need to be fed special foods, but a mix of good quality dried and wet food is ideal. Other than that, a lot of playtime is essential with kittens and young cats.
