Does a netbook / slate / non-PC tablet (Android/iPad) meet the CCI requirements?
These devices currently do not meet the minimum specifications. While specs vary from vendor to vendor, the processor included in these devices is simply not powerful enough to meet the wide range of computing needs. They are capable of browsing the internet and checking email but they cannot provide the same experience you would expect from a full size laptop or desktop computer. These devices can be a great companion to a full size computer but should not be used as a replacement. Processing power is the most obvious shortfall but these devices generally lack in screen size, screen resolution, hard drive size and memory. Please check our Minimum Laptop Specifications page for a detailed breakdown of requirements.
