In addition to the payment of poor rate, Zakat, the giving of one’s substance voluntarily, and that, too during one’s lifetime has expressly been recommended in the Qur’an and the question as to i) What to give ii) How to give, and iii) Whom to give Have also been very clearly detailed by Allah.
