Does a mothers milk pH change if she drinks alkaline water?

A. No. Drinking alkaline water does not even change the pH of the blood. Therefore, the milk pH does not change. What does change in the mother’s body, is that she adds more bicarbonates to her blood. One cannot supply alkalinity to a baby giving the mother alkaline water. The baby has to drink it. I recommend to feed the baby much diluted alkaline water to start with, such as 4 drops (new improved AlkaLife®) in a quart of water and gradually increase it to 8 to 12 drops in a quart of water.
