Does a Mac Pro RAID card affect a Sil3132 PCI-E Card ?

I’ve got a Mac Pro with the Apple RAID card (Slot4) I’ve put a Sil3132 PCI-E eSATA card into Slot 3. I can load drivers (v1.1.9 Silicon Image), and see the eSATA card in the System Profiler But I cannot get it to see the hard disks connected to the eSATA bus. The cables and disks work with my other Mac that has eSATA but not on the Mac Pro.
